January 14 -
    Lesson: 1 John 4.18
    Sermon Title: The Love Factor

There is no fear in love. Perfect love casts out all fear. Why do we fear? What is it that we are most afraid of? If there were an antidote for fear, would you use it. This sermon explores the nature of our fears and the love factor which has the power and capacity to reduce or even eliminate our fears; or second best, to provide the means to keep them under control.

The gifts may either be unknown and undeveloped or blocked in their development by personal anxiety. These gifts are not available for the building up of the Body of Jesus. This sermon attempts to help one see and understand how giftedness may be identified, developed and used for the benefit, not only of the individual, but also for the building up of the Body of Jesus.

January 28 -
    Lesson: 1 Corinthians 12.31-13.13

Love is one of those swampy words that we use whose meaning is rapidly becoming confused or lost. The level of contentment experienced by any human being is proportional to the amount of love that has been acquired. What is love? How may we acquire "true love?" 1 Corinthians offers insight and understanding.
