What Should We Study Next?

A good place to start your study of Scripture would be with a book study. Many groups begin with a Gospel such as Mark (22 studies by Jim Hoover) or John (26 studies by Douglas Connelly). These guides are divided into two parts so that if 22 or 26 weeks seems like too much to do at once, the group can feel free to do half and take a break with another topic. Later you might want to come back to it. You might prefer to try a shorter letter. Philippians (9 studies by Donald Baker), Ephesians (13 studies by Andrew T. and Phyllis J. Le Peau) and 1 & 2 Timothy and Titus (12 studies by Pete Sommer) are good options. If you want to vary your reading with an Old Testament book, consider Ecclesiastes (12 studies by Bill and Teresa Syrios) for a challenging and exciting study.
