Building Use Policy
Use of the Arena Congregational Church Facilities

The policy of the Church is to allow organizations that contribute to the education, health, and/or welfare of the community the use of its facilities subject to the following provisions:

1. Denominational and Inter-denominational groups of which this church is a part have free use of the building.

2. Non-profit community educational groups may use the building without fees for meetings with the exception of the kitchen.

3. No community group shall meet at the church regularly without sponsorship of one of the church organizations and approval by the Governing Board.

4. Any group may use the fellowship hall for a program held in conjunction with a meal prepared and served by a church organization. The church sponsoring organization shall determine the charges.

5. The Governing Board shall approve all literature and information, which is delivered or distributed by outside groups within the church.

6. The kitchen shall not be used by outside groups without supervision by a representative appointed by the sponsoring church organization.

7. Outside groups will not be permitted to use church facilities unless a representative of the sponsoring church organization is in attendance.

8. The sponsoring organization representative shall insure that visiting groups confine their activities to the area authorized and secure the church at the end of the event

9. Groups using church facilities that are not a part of the church will be billed for all damage and breakage they cause.

10. Persons using any church facilities that do not restore the area to its original condition will be billed the amount charged the church by a commercial cleaning organization for such work,

11. Requests from outside organizations to use church facilities will be presented to the Governing Board for approval.

12. Persons other than members, boards, and formal organizations within the church shall make checks payable to the Arena Congregational Church

13. The following donations apply for each use of church facilities by other than church organizations and those mentioned in #2:

In lieu of the above rates the Governing Board may accept a donation for repetitive use of church facilities.
